CT series explosion-proof special battery electrical locomotive is applied in the main haulageway or driving rock roadway containing the high gas intake (full wind pressure ventilation) as the traction mine car, which is used to transport raw coal, gangue, material, equipment and personnel.

1. High reliability of motor: three-phase asynchronous variable frequency motor, low construction cost, low failure rate, basically maintenance-free, high operation efficiency and strong applicability, it can realize parameter adjustment in different outlines, so as to realize design demands of the special model.
2. Explosion-proof speed control by frequency variation: direct torque control technology (DTC) is adopted for the frequency governor without sliding contact or joint and free of repair.
3. Good energy saving performance: speed control by frequency variation is constant torque output control at rated frequency, and the energy saving effects is quite obvious plus regenerative braking.
4. Performance:
1) Stepless uniform speed regulation, the minimum adjustable frequency is 0.1Hz, and the minimum wheel rotating speed can be adjusted to 0.5 turn / minute.
2) The zero position of the speed governor is the brake position. When the locomotive is reduced from high speed to low-speed operation, the locomotive has high speed inertia, but the locomotive motor and wheel still operates according to the low speed adjusted. Actually, the motor plays the role of braking and deceleration.
3) The maximum vehicle speed limit can be set. Once the vehicle speed is set, the locomotive will not exceed the set speed even if traveling on the downramp, so as to avoid accident caused by the driver.
4) Contactless control realizes four-quadrant operation at traction / brake conditions, the speed regulation scope is large, the rotating speed stability is good, and the frequency can be adjusted continuously, which is stepless speed regulation, and facilitates adhesion of the locomotive.
1 Appearance features
Outline of CT series explosion-proof special battery electrical locomotive. The explosion-proof special battery electrical locomotive mainly consists of the mechanical and electrical system and power supply device.
2 Mechanical part
The mechanical part mainly consists of the carbody, travel device, braking device, sanding device, cab, vibration damper and buffer. It transfers the mechanical energy generated by the traction motor to the travel device, and provide the traction power to the locomotive, i.e., tractive force of the wheel flange.
2.1 Carbody
The carbody is the frame structure welding the left and right side plates, front and rear end plates and intermediate diaphragm. The carbody is supported on the bearing box of the travel component through four groups of vibration dampers, and the carbody and the travel device are connected. The buffer is installed at the front and rear end plates of the carbody, so as to mitigate impact and couple the mine car. The cab is installed at the end of of the carbody, and the ceiling is arranged. The power supply device is located on the power supply device bracket at the upper of the carbody, which are connected with four positioning pins for fixing.
2.2 Travel device
The travel device mainly consists of the reducer, wheelset, bearing box, coupling, traction motor bracket, elastic suspension and so on.
The reducer box is made of ductile iron, the big and small bevel gear and big and small cylindrical gear are installed in the box, and the gear is fixed with the box through the rolling bearing to constitute the reducing mechanism. The gear in the speed reducer is lubricated with the lubricating oil.
The wheelset consists of the wheel axle, wheel axle and wheel rim, there are the bearing boxes at both ends of the wheelset, the tapered roller bearing is installed in the bearing box, and the wheel rim is made of wheel rim steel.
2.3 Braking device
CT series explosion-proof special battery electrical locomotive adopts mechanical and electric brake, and two cabs can conduct braking operation respectively. During mechanical brake, the drivers rotates the handwheel in the clockwise direction, so as to drive the crossbeam, pull rod and connecting rod through the screw rod and nut, and drive the left and right brake shoe. Meanwhile, brake is applied at the inside of two groups of wheelsets. After the brake shoe is worn, the brake shoe clearance regulator can be adjusted, so that the clearance of 2 to 3mm is maintained between the brake shoe and wheel flange. Adjust the spring leaf with the adjusting screw, so that the gap between the working surface of the brake shoe and the wheel tread is maintained uniform, so as to guarantee the braking effect.
2.4 Sanding device
The principle of swing and vibration sand shakeout is adopted for the locomotive sanding device, two groups of sand boxes are arranged at the outside of two groups of wheelsets respectively. During locomotive operation, one can control the sanding handle for sanding. The sand used for the sanding device shall be screened and dried before use. The function of sanding is to increase the adhesion force of the locomotive, so as to guarantee normal operation of the locomotive.
2.5 Driver's cab
The cab is welded with the roof, panel and left and right side plates, which is fixed at the carbody end with bolts. The cab can prevent rainwater, falling rock and so on, so as to protect personnel safety of the driver. The observation window is opened at the cab panel, and the illuminating lamp is installed. The frequency governor, brake handwheel, sanding handle and so on are arranged in the cab.
2.6 Vibration damper
CT series explosion-proof special battery electrical locomotive is the rubber damper or spring damper. The vibration damper shall be suspended on the left and right sides of the frame, and supported on the wheelset bearing box, so as to play the role of damping.
2.7 Buffer
The buffer shall be installed on the front and rear end plates of the carbody, so as to mitigate impact between the locomotive and mine car in operation, so as to play the role of in coupling mine car and damping. The buffer consists of the shell, head and spring, the shell is welded with steel plate, and the head is made of cast steel.
